HAPPY DUDE® operates an online store. This policy explains how personal information may be collected, used and shared when you visit happydude.ca, create an account, contact us or place an order. For privacy questions or requests, email info@happydude.ca.
What information we collect
Information you provide: Your name, email address, account details, shipping and billing information, telephone number if supplied, order details and messages sent to us. Your payment method may require information processed by a payment provider; we may receive transaction and payment-status information.
Website and shopping activity: When you visit the site, technical and usage data may be collected, including IP address, browser and device information, cookie or similar identifiers, pages and products viewed, items added to a cart and checkout activity. Our store uses WooCommerce and currently has cart-abandonment tracking enabled.
How we use information
We use information to operate the website and customer accounts; process purchases and arrange production, payment, delivery, exchanges or customer assistance; protect transactions and prevent misuse; maintain required records; and understand how visitors use the store. Subject to applicable consent and marketing requirements, website events may also be used for advertising measurement, remarketing or cart-recovery communications.
Who may receive information
We use providers that support the website and store. Depending on how you interact with us, information may be processed by GoDaddy (hosting and related services), WordPress/WooCommerce (store functions), Printful and delivery partners (made-to-order fulfillment and shipping), PayPal and other checkout/payment providers (payments), and Meta and related website-measurement tools (advertising and analytics). Our active site integrations include PixelYourSite, Meta for WooCommerce and a cart-recovery tool. Other providers may assist with email, security or operational support.
Service providers receive information relevant to their functions and may process it outside Canada, where different laws may apply. Some advertising and analytics providers also process information under their own privacy terms.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Cookies and similar technologies support essential functions such as shopping carts, account sign-in and site preferences. Analytics and advertising technologies may measure site visits, product interactions and conversions, including through Meta-related services. These tools can use identifiers and share browsing events with service providers.
